How to Use Instagram Reels

Select Your Music, Speed, and Filters

Note: To make your first Instagram Reel, go to the Instagram Stories camera and choose the Reels option.

You may use the Instagram music library to find a song to go with your reel before you shoot it. However, you can also use your own original audio by simply recording a reel with it.

Note: Your audio will be attributed to you if you share a reel with original audio, and if you have a public account, users can construct reels with your audio by selecting “Use Audio” from your reel.

Shoot Your Video

Next, record your Instagram Reels, which is almost identical to recording a video for Instagram Stories – simply tap and hold the capture button. As you record, a progress indicator will appear at the top of the screen.

Hit Share!

When you’re finished, click the next button to share your Instagram reel.
